University Centre Newbury (UCN) has partnered with the renowned digital academy, CompTIA as an Authorized Academy.
CompTIA is an academic training provider designed to help education institutions keep pace with the demands of the Digital industry.
The partnership is valuable to the UCN digital department by providing resources for training, certifying and upgrading the skills of their learners in digital studies.
Sandra Taylor, Head of Digital, commented “We are very excited to have CompTIA as an authorized academy within the UCN. Digital skills are constantly updating and I’m pleased that as part of our offering we will be able to encompass it into our programmes. ”
The newly opened University Centre will incorporate the CompTIA academy into their digital courses, such as Cyber Security, Computing and Ethical Hacking. Students will learn the latest skills in the Digital industry so they are ‘work ready’ and also have access to the latest news in the industry.
