Conferencing and Room Hire
If you are looking for an affordable and convenient location for conferencing, seminars, meetings, exhibitions, special occasions and more then Newbury College is the ideal venue.
We have a wide range of different spaces available for hire, including classrooms and meeting rooms, to specialist workshops, salons and our unique indoor marquee.
We can arrange rooms for 2 to 200+ delegates depending on your layout specification and we are conveniently situated within an hour’s reach of London, Bristol, Oxford and the South Coast and just five minutes from the M4/A34 junction.
We have over 40 spacious classrooms and fully equipped IT suites, complete with interactive whiteboards. Our Hart Room is perfect for board meetings.
The Forum is a unique performance space with a sprung floor and mirrored wall that make it ideal for our popular dance courses. The area also opens out into an amphitheatre, ideal for live performance and shows.
For conferences, exhibitions or training seminars, the space can be transformed with seating up to 120 people.
Our restaurant is open to the public for lunches and can be hired or booked for functions and events.
Our Sports Hall is the size of four badminton courts and is available for hire sports activities.
Popular with local groups such as martial arts, football, cricket, RC car clubs and more, the Sports Hall is available for hire throughout the year, even on evenings and weekends.
Our engineering workshops and labs are fully equipped for both electrical and mechanical engineering activities. The Solutions Lab also hosts a CAD suite and CNC machinery.
Our professional hair, beauty and nail salon spaces offer a realistic working environment for our students to develop their skills. The salons are also available for commercial individual hire on a long or short term basis.
Newbury College benefits from some great outdoor space which is used to host some big local events like the annual Classic Car Show, College fun days and even weddings. Outdoor space can be hired for many events, we even hosted the cast and crew of Downton Abbey when they were filming locally.
