As Newbury College welcomes learners to a new academic year it is also celebrating last year's success as a College and the successes of its learners who have excelled themselves in their courses and in gaining university offers.

It has been a successful year all round at Newbury College as the Number 1 College in Berkshire for success'* was also rated Good' by Ofsted. This year has seen a number of learners progress with offers from universities including, Nursing at the University of West London, Police Studies at Buckingham New University, Children's Development and Learning at the University of Reading, and Fine Art at the University of Southampton.

Speaking of the success of the College's learners Principal Dr Anne Murdoch said, We are delighted at this year's successes, the results show the hard work and commitment of the students and are well deserved. Students at Newbury College undertake a wide variety of programmes and the results for many of our vocational courses will be known to us in the coming weeks.

Newbury College Student, Alicia Snelling, said, I'm delighted to have a place at Hertfordshire University to study Nursing as this is a career I've always wanted to get involved in. Studying at Newbury College has provided me with the qualifications that I need to follow my dream.
