Newbury College is celebrating strong Level 3 results after 94% of learners passed their exams in the Summer 2026 series.

Thursday 13 August is widely known as A Level Results Day, but it is also an important results day for students completing T Levels and other Level 3 qualifications. Newbury College students were among those receiving results across a range of career-focused programmes.

T Levels are substantial technical qualifications, equivalent in size to three A Levels. They combine classroom learning with industry experience, helping students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for skilled employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

Lee Jamieson, Deputy Principal at Newbury College, said: “I’m pleased to report that, of all Level 3 exams sat in our Summer 2026 series, 94% of learners passed. This represents solid, steady progress.

“These results recognise the hard work and commitment of our students and staff. Our focus now is on helping every student take their next step with confidence.”

Newbury College’s ‘Careers, not courses’ approach places career preparation and real-world experience at the heart of learning. Vocational and technical programmes give students different routes to develop their skills, gain valuable experience and prepare for their future careers.

Attention will now turn to GCSE and Level 2 results on Thursday 20 August. College staff will be on hand to support school leavers with their next steps, including those whose results may not be what they had hoped for.

The day also marks the start of enrolment for new students joining Newbury College this September. Applicants have been invited to allocated enrolment sessions, where staff will confirm their programme and help them prepare for the start of college.

It is not too late for those who are still considering their options. Late applicants can explore the programmes available and apply online before attending the College for late applicant enrolment and support on Thursday 27 August.
