West Berks Supported Internship Information Session
Calling all parents/carers and young people with an EHCP who are considering their next steps after education – attend this FREE information session!
Supported internships have a proven track record of helping young people aged 16 to 24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) transition into employment. These internships offer a unique type of FREE education programme designed for young people who learn best through practical experience rather than traditional classroom settings.
If you’re curious about how supported internships work, join us for an Information Session delivered by the charity Ways into Work in partnership with West Berkshire Council. The session will be hosted at Newbury College on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, from 18:30 to 19:45 in The Forum. This is your opportunity to learn about Supported Internship programmes, ask questions, and discover what’s currently available in the West Berkshire area.
Whether you’re a student, parent, or educator, this event is open to anyone interested in exploring and preparing for the transition from education to employment.
