    Good customer service is integral to any successful organisation and has never been more important for employers. Customer service creates an overall impression of an organisation that is essential to the attraction of new customers and to ensure existing customers remain loyal. This programme is applicable to a wide range of sectors and is designed to introduce you to the skills and knowledge required to effectively carry out a customer service role. It is ideal for those entering the area of customer service for the first time. It is particularly relevant for you if you deal with customers - either internal or external as a major part of your job role. As well as people in retail organisations, this includes many service industries and public service sector organisations.

    • Unit 04: Understand How to Communicate with Customers
    • Unit 05: Understand How to Handle Customer Information
    • Unit 06: Understand How to Resolve Problems and Deliver Customer Service to Challenging Customers
    • Unit 07: Understand How to Develop Customer Relationships

    Study Online courses allow you to complete your study from the comfort of your own home, in your own time. A specialist tutor will be assigned to you for the duration of your course and will provide individual support and guidance.

    The course begins with an initial induction phone call, after which you will be issued access to the online learning platform to start your course. Regular access to a computer and a stable internet connection is essential. Public areas such as your local library can allow you access to a computer and internet, should you not have access to your own.

  • Entry Requirements

    This is a FREE online course for adults aged 19+. You can apply if you are aged 19+ and have lived in the UK for the last three years. Eligibility is based on your home postcode.

    A basic level of numeracy and literacy is required with general computer skills to for navigating the Online Learning Platform.

  • Qualification

    TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service

  • Progression

    By undertaking this course, you will be able to further your own continuous professional development, which may improve your career prospects.

  • Assessment

    You will complete an assessment at the end of each module/unit. These assessments are tutor marked, internally moderated and then moderated by the awarding body.

  • Home Study

    Study will be home-based and at your discretion within the timeframe stipulated by tutor.

  • Work Placement

    You do not have to work in this sector to complete the course.

  • Fees and Additional Costs
