We offer an excellent careers service for all students and potential students, whether you are looking to apply for further or higher education programmes, explore apprenticeship opportunities or gain employment. The advice is confidential, free, impartial and available to all.

    • Induction Interview - Checking, tracking, transfers
    • KUDOS - we work with an online careers programme that is embedded within tutorials
    • One-to-One - careers guidance interview
    • Drop-in Careers Support - careers officers are available to speak to students every day throughout term-time and at key events such as exam results days, find us in the LRC or Student Services office
    • University & UCAS - our team are available to give help and advice with your university and UCAS applications
    • General Guidance - we provide guidance on work experience, volunteering, taking a gap year, creating and maintaining your CV, searching for a job, interview tactics and much more, just ask!
    • Apprenticeship Guidance - supporting you with apprenticeship applications, listings and choosing the right programme
    • Result Days - our team are ready to support you with any questions and hold drop-in sessions on GCSE and A-Level results days
    • Employer Engagement - they'll be an opportunity for you to explore options with local employers as they provide workshops and talks throughout the year
    • Careers Events - there are a number of career-focused events held on campus for students to engage with local employers in their familiar College surroundings

    • Parents' Information Evenings - available for courses, apprenticeships and higher education options
    • Open Evenings - parents are invited to join their son/daughter in exploring the College offer at our open events
    • Progressions Evenings - the progress evenings are held three times a year
    • Parents' Survey - as part of the progress evenings we provide parents with the opportunity to provide feedback to help us continuously develop our offer and understanding of how best to support parents
