During this course, we have had the opportunity to speak to various employers, and they've come in and done events for us, and we've got to see companies in our local area. We got involved with competitions as well, where we won a thousand pounds for our class, and we went to Thorpe Park.
During the T Level course, we also have to complete 315 hours of work experience, and I completed mine at Wates, which is a construction company. I was based in the office. It's allowed me to gain new skills, meet new people, develop an understanding of day-to-day operations in an office and try things I've never tried before.
During my time at Wates, I was able to work in several departments, such as pre-construction, design and organising events, such as organising a community day where we went painting at a school in our area.
