Get involved in Destinations Expo 2023
Destinations Expo is back for 2023!
The Destinations Expo 2022 was the largest event of its kind since before the COVID-19 pandemic. It provided students from across West Berkshire with the opportunity to participate in hands-on experiences and interactive challenges with employers and organisations from a wide range of sectors. The event was designed to give young people a chance to learn about education, training and career pathways in an engaging and inspiring way.
A total of over 800 students from the following schools/colleges attended the Expo:
- Kennet School
- Trinity School
- The Downs School
- Park House School
- Mary Hare School
- The Castle School
- iCollege
- Theale Green
- The Willink School
- Newbury College
- St Bartholomew’s School
- John O’Gaunt School
89% of visiting students said their knowledge and understanding of the organisations present had increased.
Please note: This event is not open to the general public, only to schools that have registered with EBP.
Back for 2023
Destinations Expo is returning to Newbury College on 12 October 2023 and aims to represent a range of sectors and industries from West Berkshire and the surrounding area to give students insight into accessible career and study pathways.
Destinations Expo 2023 will have a particular focus on skills shortage sectors, as well as hosting representatives from a wide section of local industries and educational pathway providers.
Destinations Expo makes it easier for businesses to source new talent while showcasing the benefits they offer as an employer.
The mix of global brands and local employers means that everyone from large corporations to startups can compete on a level playing field.
Many businesses and organisations have already expressed an interest in attending again, so ensure you get in early and secure your space.
