Foundation to T Level Digital
Prepare for a T Level programme and a career in Business, Digital, Marketing or Media, with a Level 2 Foundation year that covers all of the main skills and knowledge required to progress to further learning and training, or to enter the world of work.
The Foundation year provides an opportunity to choose your route into Industry, focusing on opportunities in Digital Support, Media, Broadcast and Production, Management and Administration and Marketing. This programme enables you to continue to study towards gaining a grade 4 or above in English and/or mathematics alongside your T Level Foundation programme.

Description
This one-year T Level Foundation programme is designed to deliver the underlying principles and practical skills required to begin your journey into Industry to participate in a T Level in the following year, these T Level routes include:

T Level Digital Support and Security

T Level Media, Broadcasting and Production

T Level Management and Administration
- T Level Marketing
You will study the following mandatory content: Digital promotion for business, producing digital promotion for business and understanding social media.

Entry Requirements
You will need five GCSE passes at grade 3 or above, to include Maths and English and/or Functional Skills Maths and English.
An interest in core business functions and developing specialisms that support business operation including Digital Support and Security, Management and Administration, Marketing, and Media, Broadcast and Production.

NCFE Digital promotion for Business Level 2.

Progression
On successful completion of the Foundation year you can choose a T Level route to progress onto in either; Digital Support and Security, Management and Administration, Marketing, or Media, Broadcast and Production. Alternatively, you may chose to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship route.

Assessment
Your assessment will be a mix of practical tasks, projects, and exams, allowing you to demonstrate both your technical knowledge and your ability to apply it on the job.

Home Study
You are expected to complete approximately 2 - 3 hours of self-study per week and take responsibility for your own independent learning and research.

Work Placement
There are no mandatory requirements for industry placements during the Foundation year, however, you will undertake meaningful work-related activity involving employers during your programme.
