Deborah Ferguson

 

Deborah Ferguson, widely recognised in the field of further education, has established herself as a proficient senior and middle manager. Her expertise notably extends across an array of curriculum development and management within various subject sectors. Ms. Ferguson's specialisations are particularly eminent in Adult and Community Learning, GCSE and functional skills in mathematics and English, Foundation Learning, and Employability.

Commencing her career in adult education at Newbury College, Ms. Ferguson initially taught Family Numeracy at a West Berkshire primary school, catering to both adults and children. Her career trajectory soon led her to develop a specialism in teaching mathematics to young adults aged 19 to 25, where she worked for both Newbury and Reading College.

In 2016, after several years of dedicated service as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum Development at Reading College, Ms. Ferguson transitioned from her role. She currently provides consultancy services to various educational providers across the South East and London, leveraging her extensive experience and knowledge in the field.
