Experience a powerful reimagining of the final days of Jesus Christ, told through the questioning, conflicted perspective of Judas Iscariot. This celebrated rock opera explores the human emotions, moral tension, and shifting loyalties surrounding the final week of Jesus life, presenting familiar events with a contemporary and expressive approach. It focuses on the strain placed upon relationships as crowds grow, expectations rise, and political pressures intensify, with much of the story centred on Judas concerns about Jesus increasing influence and the dangers it may bring. 

This Kingsclere Performing Arts College (Newbury College academy partner) production, presented by arrangement with LW Theatrical Entertainment Ltd, features full-time vocational students aged sixteen to nineteen. The cast showcase their musical theatre training through exceptional vocal performances, striking choreography, and emotionally rich storytelling. Their commitment brings clarity, intensity, and sincerity to every moment on stage.

Created by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this legendary work is known for its distinctive rock score and its focus on character psychology rather than traditional narration. Audiences can expect a blend of powerful music, expressive movement, and an engaging interpretation of well-known events presented with skill, passion, and spirit. An experience not to be missed.
