COVID Vaccinations (16 & 17 Year olds)

The COVID-19 vaccination programme is hitting the road to bring jabs closer to where people live, study and work.

The NHS vaccine van will be at Newbury College on Tuesday 14 September 2021 (depending on registration numbers), offering COVID-19 vaccinations for anyone aged 16 or 17, who has not been able to access the vaccination programme yet.

This event is open to everyone, however, College students will be prioritised. To be eligible for a vaccination you don’t have to be registered with a GP, but you must:

  • Be aged 16 or 17
  • Not have already had a COVID-19 vaccination
  • Not have already booked a COVID-19 vaccination with another clinic/centre

We all need to play our part in kicking Covid into touch and making sure our families, friends and communities are protected from the virus. The vaccination is the best way of doing this. We know that some people still have questions about the vaccine so there will be trusted medical professionals on hand to answer any of your questions.

If you already have a vaccination booked with another clinic/centre, you must keep and attend that appointment.
