  • Entry Requirements

    5 GCSEs grade C (or grade 4) or above, Audition and Interview

    OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Musical Theatre Pathway or OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Dance Pathway

  • Progression

    Learners may wish to progress on to university or in to employment

  • Assessment

    The course is achieved through a number of practical and theory assessments as well as written exams

  • Home Study

    Learners will be expected to practice their skills outside of college time in order to master the practise aspects of the programme - hours per week will vary depending on productions. Learners will also be expected to complete theory research and assignments outside of college time and to meet set and agreed deadlines

  • Work Placement

    You will have the opportunity to take part in a number of productions throughout your programme as part of your work based experience. These will take part in the evening and therefore you need to be prepared to work long days during this time

Fee information

14 - 18 year olds

In most cases students aged 14-18 years old on a substantial study programme will NOT be required to pay fees and most course-specific equipment and materials will be funded by the College. This excludes stationary, non-curriculum trips and a £15 enrichment fee.

19 years and over

Students aged 19 years and over may be required to pay fees. For details of fee remission and loans for students over the age of 19 click here.
