Plumbing Level 2 Diploma (Part-time)
Level 2 Diploma in plumbing is aimed at students who have an interest in or who want to start a new career in plumbing. It will provide the underpinning skills and knowledge required to progress into employment or on to the Level 3 qualification.

Units studied include:
- Health and safety
- Plumbing and scientific principles
- Cold water
- Domestic hot water
- Central heating.
Ideally Level 1 diploma in plumbing, but not essential. Good level of English and Maths will be needed for the level 2 diploma in Plumbing.
Requirement to upskills your English and maths maybe needed.
EAL Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies
Plumbing Level 3 part-time.
Assessment includes coursework, examinations, practical and written examinations.
An element of self study will be needed.
There is no element of work experience, as this course is for students who want to retrain, would be advantageous to be already working in this industry.
Fees and Additional Costs
If you are over 18 there will be a registration fee of £140.00 if you have not previously registered with the exam board. Students are required to purchase their own steel toe-cap boots, eye protection and suitable gloves to be worn during workshop based lessons. More information on the correct types will be given at interview.

14 - 18 year olds
In most cases students aged 14-18 years old on a substantial study programme will NOT be required to pay fees and most course-specific equipment and materials will be funded by the College. This excludes stationary, non-curriculum trips and a £15 enrichment fee.
19 years and over
Students aged 19 years and over may be required to pay fees. For details of fee remission and loans for students over the age of 19 click here.
