Lego man at their desk

A career is a lot like a relationship. We fall in love with the promise and excitement of new challenges, eager with enthusiasm, but as time goes by, it's easy to get stuck in a rut.

Developing a career through short courses and training programmes can help to bring back the magic, whether it's through taking on more responsibility in an existing role, progressing within the organisation, or changing direction entirely.

My team and I have been busy working on a suite of programmes exclusively for employers who want to support the development of their staff and grow their businesses.

Our new Courses for Employers Guide[needs link] has details of our employer-focused, professional qualifications and training programmes in Business, Accountancy and Management; Project Management (Prince2 and Agile); Digital Technology and Computing; Construction and Building Technology; and Engineering.

Some of these programmes have set delivery dates and durations to suit smaller employers or those with limited training needs; however, we are happy to provide bespoke delivery for employers with specific requirements, subject to availability and group size.

We are also pleased to announce that we are working with The Skills Network to offer businesses access to an extensive suite of online professional development qualifications.

Let's make a date to discuss how Newbury College can help you and your staff fall in love with your careers again. Contact the Business Team on 01635 845229 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
